The Gift Giving Process

I was completely overwhelemed by how many times they said thank you and we were told how wonderful we are for bringing them old school supplies. Last Friday the Headmistress and the French teacher came to our school to present us with the photos the photographer they had hired took of the visit. We had writtne letters back to about 20 of the kids who had shoved their names and numbes through the windows on our way out. Now, the Director and I want to do a partnership where we have 10 or so kids come to visit wiht us for the day, over the course of the rest of the year. A lot of logistics still have to be worked out, but it sounds like the kids are into it. The man in the picture on the let is one of the teachers. The kids and teachers all have to wear the school uniform here, private and public schools. So everyday we see hundreds of school kids walking to school or getting taxis. They are dresses in what seem like hospital scrubs. The closest school to ours wears peach. The kids also go to school on Saturday for part of the day.
