Mail Call!

We finally got some mail yesterday. Pete told me as we were leaving school at the end of the day. It was pouring and the traffic was so bad--everyone who normally walks wants to take a cab, so all the taxis pull over to add yet another person, but then they negotiate and cause chaos. Pete did so good maneuvering, but I couldn't look so I had to cover my eyes.
We waited until after dinner, savouring the moment. First envelope from Ray, just some bills, boring! The second was a great card from him and I showed it to the others in the building. Jessica and Amy tied for the most cards in an envelope--3. They were posted marked for Aug.2 on, so I guess if mail makes it here, it takes about a month. No other letters made it so far--keep trying, you don't know how much it meant to me!!!! It was also nice to see some of the stationary I have been doling out make it's way back to me.
