Canals of Amsterdam

Another boat ride we took was through the canals of Amsterdam. It was one of my favorite parts. The houses are so narrow and slightly tilted, yet beautiful. They have such narrow stairways that they have to hoist items up from the outside and bring them in through the windows. Most of the houses have a huge hook for the rope to go through at the crest of the roof.
